One of the
most important features of any stroller is whether it is easy to fold. We would
recommend that any parents looking for a new stroller should try and fold and
unfold it in-store before purchasing it. You shouldn't need an engineering
degree to fold it and it should be an easy one or two step process.
In general,
umbrella fold strollers are easier to collapse than compact fold strollers and
they are usually lighter making them ideal for parents on the go.
All Cosatto’s
umbrella-fold strollers, namely the Supa, Swift Lite Supa, Supa Dupa and You2
strollers have a similar easy-to-use folding mechanism.
Before
folding the stroller it is important to make sure that the hood is completely
back, the backrest is in the most upright position and the raincover has been
removed and the storage basket is emptied.
To fold the
stroller you either squeeze the primary lock trigger and lift it upwards (Yo!, Swift
Lite Supa and You2 Strollers) or you pull upwards on the primary lock ring
(Supa and Supa Dupa Strollers) both of which are located in the middle of the backrest.
For the twin strollers each seat has a primary lock that needs to be lifted as previously
mentioned.
The next step
is to press your foot down on the secondary lock whilst you push the handles of
the stroller forward until it is folded in half and the auto catch locks. All
the Cosatto strollers come with a useful carry handle making it easy to lift
and carry the stroller once it is folded. The Supa & Supa Dupa strollers
also come with a handy stand mechanism so it can stand on its own.

In order to
unfold the stroller, you just have to release the autocatch lock and then you
must hold the stroller handles and gently lower the front and press down on the
foot pedal at the back of the stroller until you hear it click and lock into
place. You are then ready to stroll away!
